Year round

Mowing to plowing

A valley floor at 6,200 feet is a hard place to keep something green.

Short summers, hard winters, thin soil and water that everyone downstream is counting on. A landscape here needs someone who understands all four, not a crew passing through for the season.

Valley Landscape Service maintains residential and commercial grounds throughout Jackson Hole and Teton County, the same properties, year after year, from spring cleanup through snow season.

October through April

The work doesn’t stop when the grass does.

Snow removal is the other half of the year here, and it’s the half that decides whether a driveway is usable at six in the morning. Same crew, same properties, no seasonal handoff to a contractor who’s never seen the place in summer.

Trout friendly

Every lawn in this valley drains somewhere.

Jackson Hole sits in the Snake River watershed, which means what goes down on a lawn here has a short trip to water that holds fish.

Our turf programs are built around that: measured fertilizer rates, targeted weed control rather than blanket spraying, and irrigation tuned to actual need. A lawn can look right without costing the river.

The owner Dan Tolson was very nice, came over and gave me a very reasonable quote for the amount of work we needed to get done and we got a project started just a few days later! … His crew that did the work lead by a guy named Kelly did an amazing job and were all nice and hard working.
